Report a noisy vehicle

Vehicle noise is mainly due to old vehicles or improper modification by the owner, which affects the peace of life of the people. Therefore, in 1999, the Environmental Protection Agency promulgated the "Act on Conducting Inspections of Noise from Motor Vehicles in Use that Interfere with Peace of Mind" to deal with public reports that motor vehicles in use are suspected of disturbing the peace, and to strengthen the control of noise from vehicles in use.

When the public finds a motor vehicle that is suspected of being too loud, they can go to the Environmental Protection Agency's high-noise vehicle reporting website to file a report. In addition, in addition to accepting complaints from the public, the Environmental Protection Agency has since 2000 implemented loud vehicle noise law enforcement to strengthen the prohibition of vehicle noise, requiring the county and city environmental protection bureaus, in conjunction with the police and supervisory agencies, to take the initiative to identify key road sections and time periods where high-noise vehicles appear and appear within their jurisdictions. Strengthen joint noise inspections, and use a two-pronged approach of enthusiastic reporting by the public and active inspections by local environmental protection bureaus to jointly prevent high-noise vehicles from harming the environment.
