Air pollution behavior control during the designated air quality deterioration warning period

Background

During the period from October to the following March, if the daily air quality forecast data at 10:30 am of the central competent authority meets the following start‑up time, special municipality, county and city competent authorities shall issue the notice of air pollution behavior control and notify the relevant agencies to prohibit the behavior corresponding to the following table from the day after the forecast day. When the daily air quality forecast data at 10:30 am shows that the conditions for the start‑up time have not been reached, special municipality, county and city competent authorities may notify the relevant agencies to stop applying the regulations in this appendix.

Ⅰ From the next day, the concentration of particulate matter or fine particulate matter in each air quality zone may reach the primary-level warning and reach the middle-level warning or above in the next following day.

Ⅱ From the next day, the concentration of particulate matter or fine particulate matter in each air quality zone may reach the middle-level warning or above for more than 2 consecutive days.

4. Other mining and sand and gravel business are engaged in soil removal, pit excavation, mining, storage, on-site handling, and disintegration operations.
Those involved in public safety, public interest or emergency rescue.

Violators will be fined from NT$20,000 to NT$1,000,000 in accordance with Article 65 of the Air Pollution Control Act; Violators those are industrial or commercial facilities or sites will be fined from NT$100,000 to NT$20,000,000. In severe circumstances, orders may be issued for the suspension of work or business.
